Kobuk was formed in the small town of Port Alsworth. With no roads in or out, and a population of less than 200 people, life there means real bush living. Planes, snow machines, boats and the boots on your feet are the only way to get around. By living a bold lifestyle, Kobuk’s founders Evan Wardell and Coleson Voran knew that there was no one better qualified to tell the raw stories of Alaskans. At Kobuk, we don’t just capture the audacious life, we live it.
